I think it has something to do with holding the digital camera up to his head and slamming his hand in a car door...and chanting.

Well, Jay emailed me the really good picture of the Soy Bomb guy with Dylan, and then it was just a matter of a simple Yahoo search to find the three amigos.

Yeah, but getting all four of them together on one stage on such short notice is impressive.

USA Today said that the mysterious "Soy Bomb" man is a performance artist. When asked to explain Soy Bomb, he said something to this effect:

"Soy if full of protein. It has many of the elements needed to sustain life. It's healthy. It gives you energy. A Bomb is an explosion - something that surprises you, shocks you, and expands at a great rate of speed. All art should be Soy Bombs."

Profound, no?

No.

The Soy Bomb web page says that guy isn't really one of their members, but that he wore their slogan as an act of goodwill, or some such.

Soy Bomb is a reform-the-media campaign, which is actually a great idea. However, the Soy Bomb people are nuts.

Uhm, I *kinda* think the web page was somebody else's clever idea of planting wacky explanation.

I was watching my current guilty pleasure (see: WCW Wrestling on TNT) and they have this wrestler guy who has a folowing of other wrestlers. Okay, so it's a guy called Raven and there's like 5 other wrestlers that are called his Flock. Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want.

Anyway, this one guy in the Flock is always carrying signs and stuff and last night he had "Soy Bomb" written across his chest.

I just thought that was amusing.
