Gad.. I can't remember the name of it ("Barbarian", maybe?), but you were this Conan dood, and you sword-battled your way through a bunch of opponents until you finally faced the fireball-shooting wizard.

Coolest thing was, you could decapitate your opponent, and then this little janitor troll would come out, drag away the corpse, and kick the head outta the way.

Uhm, cuz you were smoking all that pot, perhaps?

I can't comment on c64 games, but I've been playing a bit of Star Raiders in the past few days. Mainly because I'm getting rid of all my old Atari stuff.

If you want any old Atari computer gear, SPEAK UP! I'd hate to give this crap to the unappreciative Goodwill.

Hey Homer, I collect old computer stuff like Atari 8-bit, etc... so email me at bluepeter@bigfoot.com with the specifics and I may come get it. I know I should be getting rid of that stuff myself, though.

Favorite C=64 games:

Elite MULE

Mail Order Monsters

Blue Max

Ballblazer

Rescue on Fractalus

Barbarian

Q*Bert (best home version until MAME)

Pancake: I don't think you'll be going to pick anything up from Homer. He's on the Left Coast somewheres.

You don't want to visit Seattle?

Sigh...

Hmm. Maybe I could do something with these things at Burning Man. BBS Camp. Star Raiders Camp. Flaming Atari Death Camp!

"Guten tag! Aye am SAM!"

I swear, that C-64 speech synthesis program was the coolest one I've ever come across, even to this very date.

I had entirely too much fun with that thing, experimenting with common phrases and rolling on the floor laughing at its botched pronunciations. I think my favorite mispronunciation was probably the phrase, "Dan Kwayle is a BYOO-foon."

Best C64 games:

I Ball Spelunker Nemesis

And that Swedish Porno stuff - simply for the laugh factor.

I wonder if I still have "Mountain Dew" on floppy?
