ran accross an item in thursday's Houston Chronicle that yall may geta kick out of. seems theres a group of SPAMMERS calling themselves The National Organization of Internet Commerce in Chino California (made up of about a dozen spammers and was founded 3 months ago) that is threatening to post the e-mail addresses of over 5 MILLION AOL subscribers (about half the total)if they are not allowed to send thier spam into AOL's mailserver by Jan 8th. they originally were going to post 1 million addresses but upped the ante when AOL threatened to sue. the leader of this terrorist organization is Joe Melle and he runs a company called TSF Marketing in california. I hope AOL makes this guy bleed!

I kind of wonder if he was *sold* the addresses in the first place...then the deal went sour in a Scarface kind of way.

Katt: Hey! Bob Rivers! I used to have his Twisted Christmas album. "The Restroom Door Said 'Gentlemen'" is my all-time favorite Christmas carol.

Jay: Eh, it's a living. :)

It clicks, it clicks.

Most of my extended family -- inlaws and, er, outlaws -- all use AOL. Because it has the best out of box experience, and is easiest to use for non-computer folks.

They bombard me with jokes and "little Timmy is trying to collect as many emails as he can before he dies" chain-letters.
