Since the links section seems to be broken, I thought I'd post this here...
textfiles.com is a rather amazing collection of BBS hakkur text filez from the early 80s. Go there and see.

Well, it turns out that the links section isn't broken, it just LOOKs broken in Fang's favorite browser, IE4.

Speaking of stuff looking broken, I've spent a good portion of the weekend upgrading my PC, and now any web pages I look at are all similarly fudged. Specifically, input buttons and form fields are missing some of the stuff that makes 'em look 3D-ish. Check this out:

Go, uh, where? Surely you understand that all web browsers suck, right? It's just a matter of degree. IE's pretty good, in fact, and it's just doing what its told when it renders the 'WebNunz/UserID/Time Now' and the link list.
Basically, the problem is that every table row needs a <tr> tag at the beginning (which is basic HTML grammar), not that Macs are superior to PCs. :-)

Hey, btw, if anyone finally gets on and wants to know a little secret that I've had luck with it's this:
Once the page rejects you and says the server is busy or whatever, try a ctrl-reload. It seems to work most times for me.

Homey: Hokay, I'll try and fix the table rows this weekend. But I'd *swear* that my /TR tags were compliant with the standard a few years ago.

You posted that on my birthday. Awww. All I know is that when I looked at the html source for the page, it didn't have any TR tags to match the /TRs. ::waving arms:: I'M A PEDANT!
