Do you not use the Windows software which came with your computer?
If so, you may be interested in learning how to get your refund from Microsoft.
<http://www.linuxmall.com/refund/> has the info. There's a Windows Refund Newsletter which is being used to organize Windows Refund Day, Feb. 15, when everyone involved will file their refund at the same time and make it a press event.
I say ROCK ON.
In fact, I might be eligable. I never installed the copy of IE3 that came with MacOS 8. Hmm. :-)

I just read a really good article on FSF, GNU, etc. versus Microsoft in Technology Review. The cover of the magazine is really funny. It has Linus Torvalds (Linux author) and Bill Gates either staring each other down or about to kiss, you can't tell which.
