I'm planning on rewriting the bo-rad using Active Server Pages. All this *really* means to you is that I would probably have to use cookies. This could be viewed as a *good* thing, too, since ya wouldn't have to type your name and password every time you visit.
So, this is my Request For Comments. Any objections?

I don't care. I know who you are. I know what you're doing with the cookie.
If some evil hacker wants to get my login and password from that cookie and login as me, more power to them.

I regularly delete cookies, history, temp files, etc.; so I will have to log in each time anyway. I'm used to it, no problem. But don't forget to feex it to where I'm not brand new each time I log in. My indignity meter, ya know.

I'm one of those rare folk who actually LIKE cookies. When I accidently deleted my temp files once, I was lost -- hadda go lookup passwords and ID's for three days until the system relearned who I was for about a dozen sites.
So yes, cookies please.
