OK...I am sitting here, coolin' out in the Nunnery when what to my unexpected ears should I hear, but two stereophonic elfin voices. A set of twin midgets are doing an infomercial for "The Fast Cash System." And I know we all know the name Don Lapre.
So, what I am asking is. "has anybody ever ordered any one of those money making plans or anything from an infomercial?" And, secondly, who are the people keeping Don Lapre and the midget twins in business?

The same people who keep Reverend Falwell and the like in business, I'd guess.

Don LaPre doesn't need for anyone to buy his program... He's already a millionaire!

Don LaPre is this huckster selling a get rich quick scheme on late-night TV infomercials. Imagine Eddie Haskel at 30 and voila.

"That's a lovely 401(k) you've got there Mrs. Cleaver. I would suggest rolling it over into a personal IRA, however, or perhaps diversification in a few CAREFULLY selected mutual funds, of which Wallace and I would be glad to assist you with."

More like:
"That's a lovely pearl necklace Mrs. Cleaver. Perhaps you should hock it so that Wallace and I can teach you how to make millions in little tiny ads in the classified sections of hundreds of newspapers and magazines nationwide!"
