Okay, laugh at me if you want. But I thought that David Spade's movie "Lost and Found" was quite a charming and sweet movie. Just rented it on video this weekend and was surprised that it was so "nice".
"Forces of Nature" on the other hand, was bad, bad, bad! Bad movie! Ben, how could you? Yuck, ptooey, blech blech.

'The Straight Story': GO AND SEE. If you thought David Lynch couldn't make a movie free of irony, think again.

I saw a preview for that and was intrigued. Homer's Seal of Approval gives me even more incentive!

For what? Forces of Nature?
Cool movie, but the ending I didn't like much. . .
I would have choosen the other way myself. :}

Agreed. I thought FoN's ending sucked.
But then, it's Sandra Bullock. I'd pay $7 to watch a movie of her reading the paper.

She lives up the road from me, ya know, Ralf.
(Suddenly, I have a vision of The Ralf Family coming to visit Austin.)

The street her house is on was renamed Bullock Ave. or Bullock Blvd. or some such stuff.

I liked here because she managed to keep the somewhat "Girl Next Door" kind of appeal going most of the time.
Most women in TV have the tendency to get naked way too much for me actually.
PS: I am straight, but come on, you have to leave something for the imagination here.

What TV are YOU watching? Most of the women on my TV stay disgustingly clothed.

Katt, YOU may want to leave luscious Sandra Bullock to your imagination, but Ralf and I want full color 8x10s.
NOW.

I'm tired of seeing her driving in every movie she's in. She did enough of that in Speed.

I'm not making the following up. I didn't even change the names, 'cuz no one's innocent.
A friend, Jerry, owns a cleaning service. He just used his mobile to call Richie to talk about an unrelated matter... but he was calling from the home of Sandra Bullock, one of his clients.

Would Jerry be susceptible to bribes of any kind in exchange for certain pertinent information?
(As a complete aside, go type in www.spell.com and see what comes up. It's disgusting, but not in the way you might think.)

Another sleeper of sorts: "Goodbye, Lover" with Patricia Arquette, Don Johnson and Ellen DeGeneres. Good plot twists and easy to watch. I was surprised at how amusing it was.
