Yeah, I went to this dumb thing. It's funny, though, how they managed to pull this off. They made the film R rated (because there's a couple butt shots... GUY butt shots), and kids feel like they're getting away with something when they go to see it, but AHA!, they're duped into seeing a movie with a moral.
The plot is supposed to be about a guy who needs to raise some cash in a hurry, so he works briefly as a male prostitute ("man whore", as they so delicately put it).
The movie's rife with farts, fart jokes, hairy butts, and all the other things Cleo holds dear. Kids love this, of course.
The moral is that what women REALLY want is to be loved and appreciated, and that one shouldn't have sex in order to accomplish that -- that sex is for people you really love, yadda yadda, on and on.
At any rate, it's really not very good, and I don't think I'd recommend paying a buck to see it at the $1 cinema. The kids thought it was fabulous, of course, but even Jimmy at 12 is old enough to know it "wasn't exactly Ghandi, but I've seen worse movies."
But it killed 2 hours so I could get Jimmy out of the house while Richie set up his drums, his Christmas present.
