Okay sooz, were you part of the collective gasp during last night's episode of "er"?????
Didn't you just want to slap Carol for breaking Luka's heart like that, though?
And poor Carter!!

George Clooney looked OLD! And I hope he got paid a lotta money for saying "Where are the girls?". Four whole words. It was a good surprise ending, though.
Carter's gonna flip out and punch Benton next time. I can hardly wait. Benton could squash him like a bug.

Yeah, Clooney did look a little rough. It definitely caught me by surprise because all reports had been denying that he would appear one last time.
Yeah, I would hate to see Benton take out Carter. Boys! Boys! Don't fight over *me*! Eriq LaSalle is such a fox (!). I have a little crush on Noah Wyle too, but I can't bring myself to admit it yet.
Something must happen to women in their mid-30's because I am back in my adolescent phase of getting crushes on celebrities again! I guess that's normal...until you start following them and stuff!

...the season finale was a bit predictable and a bit of a yawner.
They should have saved Georgie Boy for the last show.

WHAT!?! Sacriledge. The finale was FAB-you-luss.
Of course, I think Eriq LaSalle is the hottest thing walkin' (aside from Kevin Bacon), and there was plenty of him in this. I liked Carter punchin' him. That was pretty damned laughable.
I liked the playground scene, where Loofa or whatever his name is lungest to protect the kid and the EMS lady, and you think Benton has run off to hide... turns out he's protecting a different kid.
I like when they bring that old distinguished doctor, the hospital director or whatever, in. I liked the way Kerry Weaver blocked the door so Carter couldn't leave. What was she gonna do, shove her walker in his eye if he tried? I also thought Carter did a fine job of acting erratically.
I liked Cleo's little flare of jealousy.
I like Dr. Dave and the screwdriver.
I LOVE the new desk clerk, Frank. What a scream.
The whole story line with the dead baby was pretty interesting to me.
A yawner. HMPH.

I especially enjoyed the part with the pantless surgeon.

Maybe I'm getting burn-out, because while it was engaging and I enjoyed watching it, it just didn't have the intensity I was expecting.
Carter's intervention scene was hard to watch, but I was having a hard time buying that his character would be doing what he did anyway. I was hoping it would turn out that he was bi-polar instead.
Yes, I loved Cleo's eyes turning green when Benton and Corday were high-fiving their successful surgery.
This was a very active season overall with Lucy's death being the most jolting episode to me; I was hoping for a good cliff-hanger in the last epi of the season. I probably heard too many rumors about a suicide attempt that was supposed to happen...
