This movie is the shit! A must-see for anyone who likes martial arts or foreign films.

Made by the director of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", it has a lot of the same elements. Beautiful choreography, delicious movements, and artistic nuances. It also has the very lovely Jean Wang who brings grace and beauty to the film. Both men and women fight in this one (sometimes against each other). And, as one would expect, they fight for an honorable cause.

I won't say any more, but it was WELL WORTH the full admission price.

Originally made in 1993, it was rereleased this year in the wake of "Crouching Tiger"s crossover success. And damn, I'm glad.

Housemate sez it's a good flick.

Too many movies to see right now; I'll just have to give up in exasperation.

It's a banner day. This is the third or fourth time I"ve agreed with Homer.

What, you agree that my housemate agrees with WitchHazel?

Actually, there aren't ANY films out that I want to see right now, so I just picked that one "out of exasperation". :-) Heh. And luckily, it was a winner.

I have to agree with the consensus. There's a lot of movies out there and no time or money to see them all.

I just saw another movie I really enjoyed. I've heard mixed reviews about it, so I never ran out to see it when it was in the theater (even though I had previously WANTED to).

The movie is "A Knight's Tale". It's a rather interesting period piece that throws in some Queen's tunes right in the middle, just to throw the movie off-kilter. Not only that, but there's lots of jousting and other such antiquated sports which I found fascinating.

My favorite character was, of course, the redhead.

Oh, and Chausser makes an appearance (apparently the screenwriter takes artistic license for the six months of Chausser's life that are unaccounted for).

Really good, unconventional, funny stuff. Highly recommended by the Witch.

I love adult film titles. Hell, most of the time, the *title* is the most creative part of the movie!
