What'd you think of Spiderman? Other than the obligatory superhero plot (good vs. evil, save the girl, be mysterious to her, huge balloons in the street, evil businessman), I liked it. Toby Maguire's not THAT bad, and Willem Dafoe sure as heck makes up for anything Toby's lacking.
But I thought if I heard "Don't tell Harry!" one more time, I might scream.

I quite liked it too. I thought it was really good, better than I expected it to be actually.
I do hope that in the next one though, they skim down the love story stuff a bit. I mean I know you have to have SOME of it, but there was just too much in this one.
I quite like Toby Maguire...you ever see Cider House Rules Sooz? Fantastic movie.

He's really good in Wonder Boys, too, with Michael Douglas.
And a Spider-Man movie without the story of Peter and Mary Jane Watson would be pointless.
