Greetings, my fellow 404 victims!
You're probably here looking for an article that turned up in your search results, and you are internet-savvy enough to backtrack your way through the URL until you hit something that is not a 404 error. I applaud your determination.
I was housing a bunch of articles here from talk.bizarre, alt.religion.kibology, and I think even a couple from alt.humor.best-of-usenet, primarily because I am a big fan of the various authors, I wanted to save these articles for myself, and I wanted to make it easy for me to share them with my friends and relatives.
However, as you are probably already aware, these articles sometimes turn up in search results. That could be a good thing, if you are looking for quality entertainment from a talented writer, or it could be a bad thing, if you find an article that the original author sincerely wishes you wouldn't find.
Since I never actually sought permission from the authors to publicly host this stuff, I feel particularly bad that the latter has occurred.
If you're really gung-ho about reading the article that you were seeking, there's probably a decent chance that it's online somewhere else, and if you send me an email at beinfang@wt.net I would be happy to offer a suggestion or point you in the right direction.
Thanks! And, apologies.
