Hah! You might *expect* to pay a hundred meelion dollars, but thanks to the fact that I presently have no JOB, you can now grab this zippy (and relatively complete) PC system for only $450!

Okay, $425. Dammit, ya drive a hard bargain.

Here's the scoop:

• Cyrix P150 (120 mHz) (processor & mutherboard purchased in early 1996)
• 32 MB RAM (expandable to 128) (2 brand spankin' new 16MB EDO SIMMS)
• Mutherboard: "Spacewalker" HOT-557
• 4 PCI slots, 3 ISA slots (one of each is already in use)
• Onboard controller for 2 serial, 1 parallel port, floppy, primary & secondary IDE.
• 2.7 gig HD (brand spankin' new)
• 1.44 MB 3.5" floppy (brand spankin' new)
• 24x IDE CD ROM (brand spankin' new)
• 16-bit Sound card (brand spankin' new)
• 2 Koss amplified speakers
• Mini-tower case, with three 5 1/4" bays and three 3 1/2" bays
• 101-key keyboard (counted 'em twice to be sure... no annoying Win 95 keys! no goofy "ergonomic" twists!) (brand spankin' new)
• Cheap-ass mouse (brand spankin' new)
• 4 MB PCI S3 video card (brand spankin' new)
• 14" Goldstar monitor, .28mm dot pitch, non-interlaced, up to 1024 x 768 if ya squint; 800 x 600 is great, though. (vintage 1996)

And if ya want, you can even have it with an Ethernet network card. I also have a really old 540 MB hard drive that makes a really disturbing noise, somewhat like that of a steel blade being sharpened against a grindstone, which I'd be happy to install if'n ya want it.

You also get a whole buttload of manuals and original driver disks. And I may even throw in some miscellaneous software.

Help an unemployed programmer make it through the turn of the month. $450 will get you this [mostly] new complete computer system, plus a reasonable amount of support[1], plus periodic cards and letters from the programmer so that you can see how your $450 gift of love has made a difference in his life.
