MP3s

The MP3s are here! And they get their very own page all to themselves.

Audio

12/17/03 - KPFT-FM radio interview, in 24kbps mp3 format (4.5 MB). Approx. 25 minutes in length.

The following are in RealMedia format, but they probably won't stream very well, if at all, so you might consider right-clicking on the links and saving the files to your local hard drive. Download a free RealMedia player here if ya need one.

Memories of the Great Frog Rain of '48 - "I'll never forget that amphibian downpour, The day that led to our engagement, Tiny green bodies hitting the pavement, And what simple fool could ask for more?" Recorded at the Mucky Duck, in their "Tribute To Appliances" theme show. File size = 1.34 MB.

Just Another White Rocker - This was occasionally their show opener, and this particular clip also features the Muppet Show Theme. Contains my favorite song lyric of all time, "Don't got dibs on slavery, my ancestors played bagpipes, and the men wore skirts." Another from the Mucky Duck "Tribute To Appliances" show. File size = 1.94 MB.

Video

Candy Girl - Windows Media format, a whopping 20 MB. From the December 18 2003 Christmas reunion show at Fitzgerald's in Houston. If you don't have a broadband internet connection, you'd better right-click and "Save" this to your own drive. (Profanity alert! Don't crank the volume at work unless you have really cool co-workers.)

Bureau of Missing Persons - Windows Media format, 7.7 MB. From November 18, 2001, at the Voodoo Lounge in San Francisco.

The Official ZZP Band Gesture - File size = 1.8 MB.

A Visit from the Zsu-Zsu's Petals Fairy - File size = 1.8 MB

Sir Rock-A-Lot - Frequently the encore, this was always a crowd favorite. This was also the showcase for Scott's drum solo, which usually meant the other band members had to find ways to busy themselves... This was taped at their Christmas reunion show. File size = 10.7 MB.

Just a Reminder - If the band had an "anthem," this was it. And this was usually a showcase for some blistering guitar work from Patrick. Willie opens with "Amazing Grace". Watch for a cameo appearance by Macaulay Culkin. Taped at Fitzgerald's, 5/1/92. File size = 14.2 MB.
